Identify the main trends within each country and the similarities and differences between them. By understanding what is going on in other emerging economies you will be able to gain more insight into the second part of this activity.
Now, as a group summarize what you can find out about Brasilian investment in specific areas of technology and science, and their links with industry and economic development. To make this more interesting, I suggest each group chooses one of the following areas: Aerospace, Agriculture, Biotechnology, Energy, Medicine.
